We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Platform Provision & Features: Creating job seeker profiles, publishing job advertisements, and matching candidate profiles with open positions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Internal Support & Quality Control: Internal review by authorized back-office employees to offer direct, informed assistance during user inquiries and to verify compliance with our ethics and platform policy (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest).
- Forwarding Applications: Transmitting applicant profiles and documents to the respective job providers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Billing & Administration: Processing Credit purchases and fulfilling statutory tax and accounting requirements (Art. 6(1)(b) & (c) GDPR).
- Public Platform Statistics: To illustrate the performance and scope of our Platform, we publish aggregated statistics online. These statistics are fully anonymized and do not contain names or identifiable details of any candidates or clients.
3. Categories of Processed Data
- Master Data: Name, email address, password
- Profile Data: Professional qualifications, career history, contact information
- Uploaded Files: Resumes, certificates, profile photos, external links
- Usage & Payment Data: Login timestamps, application histories, Credit transactions, billing addresses (incl. VAT ID)
- Communication Data: Messages exchanged through support requests
4. Data Sharing and Internal Access
- No Data Sale / No Third-Party Transfer: Your personal data will never be sold or rented to unaffiliated third parties.
- Job Providers: Application data is only transferred to companies to which you actively submit an application.
- Internal Back-Office Access: Authorized back-office staff at mycruisejobs have access to stored data to provide direct support during user interactions and to prevent policy violations or misuse.
5. Storage Duration and Deletion
- Candidate Management List: Applications and data in the CML (Candidate Management List) are accessible to job providers during the 30-day runtime of the job ad, as well as for an additional 30 days following its expiration. After this period, access for the job provider automatically expires. The job provider is free to extend the duration of the job advertisement or the access to the CML at any time, which extends the data retention and access period accordingly.
- Account Deletion: Users may delete their user account independently at any time.
- 14-Day Recovery Window: Following account deletion, data can be restored within 14 days upon written request to support@mycruisejobs.com.
- Final Erasure: Once the 14-day window expires, all profile data is permanently and irrevocably deleted from active systems (except where statutory commercial/tax retention obligations apply).
6. Data Security
We utilize modern technical and organizational measures (such as SSL/TLS encryption) to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or tampering.
